The North Country Children's Museum (NCCM) promotes learning and discovery for children in preschool through middle school and their caregivers. The museum serves as a learning lab for faculty across our four campuses in education, science and the humanities. Local businesses and artisans also play an integral role.
When doors open in Old Snell Hall, NCCM will serve community needs for vacation weeks and summer camps, after-school programs, school field trips and birthday parties.
NCCM is conducting a funding campaign for both current operations and capital to support the future permanent exhibits. According to Steam Powered Classroom, the North Country Children's museum is Changing the Educational Landscape of our Communities.
MISSION STATEMENT | To promote children's creativity, inquiry and learning through active hands-on exhibits and programming. NCCM highlights the cultural and geographical resources of the North Country through partnerships with local universities and businesses.
